Its GUI does not impress, but it's well-optimized and provides great stability and responsiveness. The toolbar icons are a bit too small and the menu, in general, lacks a bit of color.
About its capabilities. Robot 3T has a built-in editor that includes a JSON validator and can be used to insert or edit a document. The JSON validator checks the code for errors, while syntax highlighting and code completion options help the end-user to better visualize the code and improve the efficiency.
Furthermore, all operations executed on MongoDB are done asynchronously and don't block the main application thread.
